The project brief was to choose an artist or director with work spanning 20 years and over. I decided to go with my favorite director of all time, Stanley Kubrick. I wanted to write and explain his process from start to finish on his controversial horror masterpiece, The Shining. This book is not only an ode to Kubrick, but my design interpretation on one of the most powerful movies in cinema.
